When evaluating MidFielders, these are the Attributes to which I pay most particular attention:
Run Defense ~ Processing Speed, Power, Agility, and Mechanics as he Works Traffic and of course Tackling.
Pass Coverage ~ Processing Speed, Agility, and Verticity. Tackling.
Pass Rush ~ Power, Agility, and Mechanics.
Intangibles ~ Processing Speed, Field Vision, and Motor.
Pass Defense ~ Raw. Seems to lack Instincts. Has Raw Fluidity, but lacks Lateral Agility and may suck.
Pass Rush ~ Raw. Phenomenal Launch Velocity, Burst, and Fluidity, but horrible Core Strength & Hand Mechanics.
Intangibles ~ Excellent Instincts, but dubious Diagnostic Acuity & Bipolar Motor.
But I see a College Star who projects to be a weakness in Run Defense, a weakness in Pass Defense, and far less of a Force in the Pass Rush than the vast majority of Pundits seem to expect'm to be.
His lack of Core Strength & Lateral Agility could get'm killed in Run Defense, his lack of Instincts and Lateral Agility could get'm killed in Pass Defense...and his lack of Core Strength or any kind of Repertoire could kill'is Pass Rush.
I'm putting'm on Bust Alert.
