Western Kentucky HillToppers ~ 6027/189
Intangibles: Diagnostic Acuity, Field Vision, and, above all: Processing Speed. And of course: Motor. Motor Matters.
Agility: Acceleration, Fluidity, and Closing Speed. And of course: Verticity!! Turning & Burning in Direct Coverage.
Pass Prevention: Combat Skills in Coverage, and Timing, Vertical Burst, and WingSpan at the Catch Point.
Run Support: Appetite, Tactical Discipline, and Combat Skills ~ working through Traffic & Tackling Mechanics.
Agility: Exceptional. Exhibits a tremendous combination of Fluidity, Acceleration, Closing Speed, and Range. His Verticity suffers from his Height, but is competitive enough. Press Coverage would clearly be optimal for'is Skill Set.
Pass Prevention: Outstanding. Dowling brings an extraordinary fusion of Tracking Skills, Vertical Agility, Combat Skills, and an incredibly WingSpan to the Field of Battle at the CatchPoint. He even has soft Hands.
Run Support: Deficient. Flies around, but is incredibly unreliable. Combat Skills and Tackling are raw, to put it kindly.
Caveat Emptor, Gentlemen!!
Talk about your classic Boom or Bust Prospect!!
First an aside: It seems that he is generally being projected for CenterFielder ~ that's "Free Safety", to you Earthlings!! ~ but I just don't see it: His Processing Speed and Field Vision are weak, and his Run Support is sketchy.
In my opinion, he projects as an awful CenterFielder.
Howling Jon Dowling ~ yeah, that's my name for'm!! ~ is blessed with such awesome Fluidity, Speed, WingSpan, and Agility that he could very well become every bit as extraordinary as he evidently considers himself already to be.
If he packs some Beef on that Frame, applies himself, and gets over being such a Donkey in general, he could stack up multiple Pro Bowls, become a dominant CornerBack, and make himself an obscene amount of Money.
He could be peddling used Cars in about 3 Years.
Thanks, as always, to the extraordinary Work by the men of Draft BreakDown!!
